Peer Coaching
In the peer coaching sessions, doctoral candidates at different stages of their PhD come together to discuss the topics that are currently most relevant to them and to support one another in developing solutions.
The peer coaching programme is offered on an ongoing basis, both on the main campus and at Fürstenallee. An online format is also possible if there is interest. Dates will arranged together with the participants.
Starting the PhD
In the initial phase of their doctorate, many doctoral candidates feel like they are left alone with a wide range of questions. This peer coaching brings together doctoral candidates in the first year of their doctorate. In each session, one or two participants present a current challenge or question to be discussed in the group. We share experiences, give advice, and try to develop possible solutions together. The topics discussed in the individual sessions can be introduced by the participants themselves and the meetings can be organised according to their needs. Topics might include, f.ex. identifying with your new role, dealing with colleagues and supervisors, or time management, amongst others.
