If you have not yet learned German, sign up for the beginners’course (German A1.1). If this course is not currently offered, please contact dim@uni-paderborn.de.
Note: Outside the lecture period, we offer the intensive "Arriving in Paderborn" programme.

If you already have German language skills, an online test is required for placement. Please click here: Placement test in KOMO . At the end of the test, your level (A1, A2, B1, B2, C1, C2) will be displayed and you can register for the corresponding course. If you are still unsure of your level, please make an appointment with Sigrid Peitz.

Late registrations for German language courses are possible up to 2 weeks after the start of the course. If you discover the courses at a later date, please contact dim@uni-paderborn.de

If you would like to improve your language skills with a native speaker independently of a course, you may be able to find a suitable partner for a language tandem via the ZfS tandem market.
