About Marcus Burkhardt
I am Professor of Media, Algorithms and Society at the Institute of Media Studies. My research is situated at the intersection of critical study of digital, algorithmic media and the development of and research with digital methods.
Current research projects:
- “Agentic Media: Formations of Semi-Autonomy”, subproject in SFB1187 “Media of Cooperation”, together with Prof. Dr. Karin Knorr, University of Chicago / University of Siegen.
- “Industry of Personal Data”, sub-project in the SFB1187 “Media of Cooperation”, together with Prof. Dr. Maximilian Becker, University of Siegen.
